TAV Georgia invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Head of Technical Division at Batumi International Airport.

The successful candidate will lead the Technical division, ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of airport infrastructure, facilities and technical systems. The role includes managing engineering and maintenance activities, coordinating architectural improvements, and overseeing construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee engineering works related to airport infrastructure development, rehabilitation and modernization.
• Assess technical needs and prepare or coordinate technical specifications, scopes of work, cost estimates and project schedules.
• Review engineering designs, calculations, drawings and proposed technical solutions in coordination with qualified specialists.
• Coordinate architectural solutions with engineering requirements, maintenance needs and existing infrastructure.
• Manage the department`s daily activities, allocate resources and supervise the technical team.
• Ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of airport buildings, electrical installations, mechanical equipment, water supply, drainage and other technical systems within the department`s scope.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans, inspection schedules and operating procedures.
• Coordinate fault diagnosis, repairs and emergency interventions to minimize disruption to airport operations.
• Monitor equipment condition, system performance and service life, and recommend repairs, upgrades or replacement.

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture, or a related technical field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in engineering, technical operations, facilities management or infrastructure maintenance, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Practical experience in planning, supervising and delivering engineering, construction and renovation projects.
• Ability to read, interpret and review architectural and engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation
• Proficiency in Georgian and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work with AutoCAD or equivalent drawing software.
