Position: Port Operations Assistant

Location: Batumi

Job Type: Full time

The Port Operations Assistant will support the Port Operations team in coordinating and carrying out daily port and vessel-related activities in Poti and Batumi. This role is suitable for a motivated candidate who is willing to learn about port operations, container shipping, and related procedures.

You Must be able to:

• Assist in collecting and updating vessel arrival information.
• Support the preparation and submission of import and export documentation to relevant port and customs authorities.
• Enter and update operational data in the company`s systems.
• Assist with vessel arrival and departure procedures and coordinate with relevant authorities when required.
• Collect invoices from relevant parties and submit them to the Accounting Department.
• Assist in coordinating daily activities with port terminals and other relevant parties.
• Help monitor container conditions and report any visible damage.
• Assist in identifying and releasing empty containers for export bookings.
• Communicate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth operational processes.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Port Operations team in Poti and Batumi.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• A person with minimum 1 years of work experience in a similar field
• Good knowledge of logistic industry
• Individual and team player
• Data entry skills
• Ability to prioritize things
• Detailed oriented
• Good communication and multitasking skills
• Proficient in English and Georgian is must (both written and verbal), Russian will be plus
• MS Office skills
