KfW is recruiting an Analyst for its private sector engagement, based in Tbilisi/Georgia.

The main responsibilities include:

• Analyze country / sector-specific information; build up and maintain contacts to local business community

- Regional coverage: South Caucasus (focus: Georgia)

- Sectoral coverage: corporates, financial institutions and infrastructure, with a focus on corporate clients.

• Prepare and support KfW`s private sector focused missions to Georgia and in the region, attend and minute meetings with clients, draft related documents and correspondence
• Support in all phases of the financing transactions cycle in close coordination with the regional team in DEG´s head office in Cologne, Germany.

- Market monitoring, financing transaction identification. Support in screening and assessing transaction proposals with regard to their plausibility and feasibility.

- Support for the preparation of financing transaction´s appraisal documents, including thorough business and financial analyses (i.e. analysis of financial statements, financial model preparation/analysis), market/competition analysis; transaction´s SWOT etc.

- Support in due diligence process, including preparation of ratings, pricings and further internal project assessment documentation

- Support in portfolio management process, monitoring of project implementation phases; preparing internal reports, ratings etc.

Required qualifications:

• A bachelor´s or master`s degree in finance, business administration, economics, engineering or any other relevant field;
• At least two years of work experience related to banking and finance; experience in corporate finance / financial statements analysis
• A strong ability to identify and accomplish tasks autonomously with guidance from HQ and the Office Director;
• Native Georgian speaker; excellent knowledge of oral and written English; German language skills are an asset but not a prerequisite;
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office);
• The ability and readiness to travel occasionally inside and outside of Georgia.
